Although Gholston will (most likely) never live up to his hype, I believe he will be more productive then in years past. Not only more productive, but exceed our low expectations of him. I predict ONE sack for him this year! YEP! That's right! A whole ONE sack. I know it's an incredibly insane prediction, but I predict one sack and 20 tackles for him in 2010.

I can see him getting 3. With sub blitz packages on 3rd down everyone will be more worried about blocking the other Jet players so I think Gholston might be able to take advantage of a TE or a RB if they are the only ones there to block him.

I think over/under would be better... The over/under on sacks should be 3 and tackles around 20.

I don't really care how many sacks he gets, I'm just hoping he'll be good enough to tie up a couple blockers allowing Pace, Taylor, or Thomas to get in at the QB. That being said if I had to take a guess a sack total I'd say 3.

I think that is the normal responsibility in the 3-4
but I think on 3rd down they will have in to rush the passer.

DennyCrane is exactly right, if a DT/DE gets anywhere around 10 sacks in a 3-4 defense, it is like the equivalent of getting 20 sacks in a 4-3 defense.
