The Jets signed Undrafted Free Agent, Donovan Warren from Michigan, following the draft. I really like this move and I think Warren has a solid chance of contributing to the Jets in the coming years. He made a mistake by entering the draft too early, but as 3 year starter at Michigan and First Team All Big Ten, he does has potential..
What do you guys think Warren? Any chance you think he develops into a solid player for the Jets?

I haven't seen that much of Warren but he looks like a typical Rex Ryan player, tough tackler and hard worker. I like the way he wraps up the tackle. His coverage skills seem to need a bit of work but definitely has some potential.

Warren is a hard hittin corner with upside. If he continues to work at it, he could develop into a complete corner. Has the size, the athleticism, the drive to compete; now he needs to actually focus on bettering his skills for this level. Donovan has the qualities to match up with most of the receivers in the league, but he might be better suited converting to a coverage Free Safety which we actually don't have at the moment. Yes they brought in Brodney but he isn't considered around the league as a cover safety. Donovan has better ball-hawking skills then Pool and could compete for that #1 slot eventually.
Jets brought in Conderen to be the #2 FS, but Donovan would make a better #2 with his corner ability as his foundation.

How the would the Jets be able to trade for a player when we dont have the pick? It was for the 155th pick in this years draft that we got from Philly.
