Default mel kiper called us a glorified expansion team

That's doing expansion teams a disservice. Jax and carolina were playoff bound in 2 years. Sad part is he's right. You could take a piece of paper and write every position on either side of the ball. Throw a dart and where ever it lands wed need a better player at that position. I hope idzik rocks the draft because there's no doubt right now this is the worst team in football with holes everywhere. Even mangold and brick have regressed. Cro is the only star on the team. We gotta fix that plain and simple

Mel Kiper is also an idiot.

Seriously though, he doesn't even know what our roster will look like once the season starts.

I don't agree. There is more talent here than that. Some good young players on D with a few more who should develop plus the picks we will draft this weekend. And not a strong schedule except for October. I do think that Rex can coach up the defense and they will be average to above average. The offense should improve because they have no where to go but up. We will win more games than last season and have a reasonable shot to go 8-8. It's easy to jump off the Jets bandwagon and right now the Jets are in the bottom 10 as far a popularity in the NFL.

It's valid to argue that before the draft this team is putrid and needs the most work. That's all he said, if anyone needs a good draft, it's us. While teams with worse situations like KC have addressed their issues, we cut away due to financial reasonings

Apparently expansion team is being thrown around a lot. The NJ Star Legder said the Jets were now an expansion team.

So I decide to look at the Las Vegas odds to win the Super Bowl. Odds say current but I'm not sure if this reflects the Revis trade yet or not. Jets are 75-1 - the only teams with higher odds are Arizona 100, Buffalo 100 (Jets play twice), Jacksonville 200, Oakland (Jets play) 100, Tennessee (Jets play) 100 and Cleveland (Jets play) at 75. So that is potentially 5 win for the Jets.

I think whoever gets the better QB play between the Jets and Buffalo will take 3rd place.

The media just discovered that term, so now they are fascinated by it similar to how an orangutan is fascinated with a shiny piece of metal.
