You have to add to the equation that Sanchez had little of no spring training talking snaps with this offense because of the lockout.

I've often wonder why quarterback get credited with an INT when the receiver miss the pass and his defender snatches the ball. But then again the quarterback gets credited with a completion when extra efforts by the receiver makes the catch of a poorly thrown ball.

I don't even trust "stats" because many times they can be circumstantial.

I didn't watch hardly any of the Jets games last year so I don't know if Sanchez had to make quck decisions which turned out bad because the offense didn't give him time. Also how much liberty does the sideline give the quarterback to change the play at the line? Manning virtually ran the offense.

I guess you can tell by how often the players look to the sideline during the pre-snap.

Mark was pretty good at calling audibles but rarely used them

Well said doug. Credit him for the bad things as well as the good. Whether or not it was his fault. Thats what a QB, not unlike a pitcher, is made to be i guess. That sideline body language, especially this past season spoke wonders about the coaching.

You mention pitching, as you know they rotate pitchers. Certain rotations can win or lose a game. Here has been some colleges that relied heavily on quarterback rotation. LSU did for a while. I don't recall an NFL team the did a lot of it during a game. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It will be interesting to see if Ryan tries that. One thing for sure, both Tebow and Sanchez will have to be willing to work together for the good of the team.
Exactly. I'm still not sure why or how he kept his job. Mark's turnovers come from bad decision making? Really? That can be seen from my couch!
Just move your couch further away & it won't bother you!

Still, he made some pretty dumb plays last year in addition to having zero help from his team at times.

You nailed it again! 100%

Does anyone know if there is a video of some DE just bumping Hunter last year & he fell over like a toddler falling over his toy truck. I t was sl funny live but I forgot which game it was in.
