I can't think of anything the Jets can afford to give up for Long and his massive contract is----massive.

I would like nothing better then to see him do well for us but I am not wanting to gamble 110 to 1 for it

Massive contract + injuries last year + inter-division trade + too much to give up + he only has 1 year left on contract (I believe)= No J.Long on the Jets.

Why are the dolphins stirring up a trade rumor anyway, that's not gonna help them win games...just move Martin to the other side...jeez.

because they got Martin and he's the next best LT in the league and Long may be just about finished
