The object of this thread is to ban people, but you can only ban the poster previous to your post.

So the next poster has to ban me for something I said in this post (about anything) and so on.

This is an idea I took from another website forum

You really don't want to do that. Unless it violates the rules of conduct on the forum, it would take away freedom of expression. If you are speaking of the Gang Green forum, they had already ban me for a rediculus reason. This was their reason:

You have been banned for the following reason:
You're either a troll or a monumentally stupid Tebow fan. Either way gtfoh.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Now that's not the reputation you want on this forum is it?

I used to travel some of the other forums before landing here and eventually becoming a moderator. We're definitely a PG rated forum, but every one is entitled to post their views so long as within the rules of conduct. (no profanity etc..). We're definitely smaller than some of the others, but I believe the quality of our average post is much higher than most of the other boards.

Now back to the banning joke thread that i didn't quite get...

That's a pretty asinine thing to say to somebody. And even if true, I couldn't imagine the latter being against their rules.

I've heard of others getting banned from there for ridiculous stuff as well. So don't feel bad.

I think he was just trying to get your attention. Well it worked. If I hadn't been ban on the other forum I probably laughed it off.

Now I have been censored from a Denver Bronc forum because I didn't thoroughly read the forum rules and posted something that wasn't allowed but that was only for a number of weeks and then was let back on.

Now banning a moderator or someone who has worked their way up, I wouldn't do that.

Boy! What a way to start a morning....LOL
