Yes Joe Pa is still alive, albeit on a ventilator. CBS Sports broke the story that he passed away last night, then apologized. That is pretty shameful.

Rest in peace Joe Pa. Regardless of what has been going on at Penn State, he was a college football legend. So sad that the past few months tarnished that. I hope his family are left to grieve in peace.

Regardless of what has been going on at Penn State? He harbored & protected a sexual predator. If he wasn't a legendary College football coach then everyone would consider him a complete scumbag. I hate how famous people get special treatment in this country. I'll have to visit "the things I hate" thread here on the forum and vent, lol.

I beg to differ he did the right thing... however this is not a post that created to argue right or wrong go to the Penn State thread to argue that... here we are mourning the loss of a great coach and a guy that changed the college football world by hes excellence! RIP Jo PA.

Well said. The Issue that led to his leaving Penn State can be discussed in another thread.
