Default Must Win Bills and Patriots

I figure last year just to get a wild card spot we had to have only 5 losses. If you figure we have 3 already and bills and patriots are our next two games, they virtually are must win for us if we plan on still making the playoffs even as a wildcard. The AFC is too top heavy right now we need those two wins, we need to come out 6 and 3.

I think we need to focus one game at a time and quite frankly, we need to win every game we play. Let's not jump ahead, focus on the BILLS and don't fall in the "losing-coming-from-a-bye" stat.

The most important thing is actually the patriots. While losing to the Bills puts us on the edge, we arent pushed off yet. We have to split with the pats to better not only our record, but division hopes.

I was hoping for the ravens to win because we lost to them, so them competeing in the WC isn't good. The steelers shuld be a contender, and i think the raiders will slow down and the chiefs catch up...which wont be an issue. If anything tennessee as well, but all in all, it comes down to the raiders and ravens in the WC. One has to not have a chance at a WC whether its winning the division or going on a losing streak.

The one game a a time thing is so stupid...it makes no sense. What do people mean? Focus on one...thats such fluff. And that if anything, is for coaches to gameplan...were fans and criticizin analysts so to speak...not players...

Jetsruby, you and I dont normally agree when it comes to Sanchez, but right now we are speaking the same language. Although, my reasoning for must-win against the bills as well is because the pats lost to them and if we can manage to beat both we will be tied with the bills for division wins and the pats will be behind us there. At that point we could be back in the division race instead of just chasing a wild card.

Pretty much every game is a must win until further developments (until we see how other AFC teams fare and where we stand in the standings)....
THAT IS WHY WE MUST TAKE IT ONE GAME AT A TIME AND NOT LOSE FOCUS ON OUR NEXT OPONENT.

It's the bye week. Why can't we focus on the Bills and Patriots this week. It's not like we have something else to do on Sunday

The Patsies still have to play:

BUF
PIT
NYJ
NYG
PHI

All teams they COULD lose to...that would put them @ 10-6 and potentially out of the playoffs. Now, I'm not saying that WILL happen, I'm just trying to prove a point that it's way too early to be looking at playoff standings.

I understand that as fans we really tend to look at the full schedule and predict where we will be towards the end of the season...as opposed to just looking at the upcoming game. But even still, things can change drastically every week in the NFL.
And at this point anything can happen.

There's still some hope to win the division and we still have a great chance at a wild card.

Other than the NYJ and PIT, we have to play all of those teams as well. In fact Buffalo twice.

I'm looking forward to a stress free football Sunday!
