Plax wanted to play for the Eagles but they showed no interest. Now he wants to play for the Panthers and they have shown no interest (prefer to develop their own young WR's). Nobody really wants Burress because he's become a situational WR (good near endzone), he's not QB friendly (for a young QB) and he is old - he can't run up and down the field as an every down receiver anymore. My best guess is a team will give him a shot if they sustain injuries at the WR spot during pre-season and they look to add a veteran. I think he can be a good short yardage receiving #2 TE (LB on him) but CB's are too quick for him...

And to think I was convinced Lions fans were extinct. What a rare sighting.
