Can't blame him, he is at the end of his career ,has a chance to get a ring. He chose to leave , the team had an offer on the table for him.
They could have released him earlier.. not in june. You don't see very many releases in june unless its a legal case.

When the words "released by jets and recently signed with the pats" is in a sentence I take it as a bit of a sticking. Wore a Jets jersey for 10 years will now end his career in that jersey they wear up there.

Your missing the point.
The Jets offered him $5mil a year for 2 years. He Turned it down for half with no guaranteed money to chase a ring.
Pitta and Macklin were released the same time as Harris.
Players are released in June on a regular basis.
Guess what? They are also released in July and August.
The Jets have paid Harris well over $50 million in his time with the team and had $10 more on the table. That's double his fair market value. They tried negotiating since the start of the off-season. He was released after being out performed in OTAs. Nothing wrong with the way the Jets handled things. They made him a more than generous offer. He declined.
Now he may get a chance to chase a ring if he makes the Patriots roster. He can be released any time prior to the first game of the 2018 season with no guaranteed money.
Watch and see how many vets are released during camp and offer preseason games.
It's a business, you have to separate emotions from the decisions.

AND.....the Jets are finally doing what we all know deep down needed to be done if we are ever going to become truly and consistently competitive.

It's good that you can laugh about it because crying wouldn't help any way.

After 8 years on the forum without a single intelligible post, I chose not to bother responding to him.
Don't let him suck you in my friend.

I had him pegged when he kept asking for a QB to be drafted that won't be eligible til 2018 at the earliest. That's why I was politely sarcastic. He'll likely keep doing the same thing for ever.

Thanks for giving the jets your all DH over the years. Ring of honor may await you in a few years. But SK's strong dislike for the deflatetriots mandates he stands for them never ever winning another super bowl buddy...ever. Sorry, not really.

Will you forgive him if he doesn't make the roster in N.E. ?
