We need to play solid Defense throughout Run the ball and have great Sptms. We have all the best that offers in the league if we can be consistant.

Anything is possible if the players stay positive and work one at a time. Yes there are 3 maybes but Cincy I dont see as one of them.

We have a chance to run the table, but it will be a hill no mountain to climb. Remember we had a chance to win all the games we played we gave them away. We shot ourselves in the foot. We didnt just get flat out, out played we were the dominate team in every game including the teams that played consistant, we were still the DOMINATE TEAM ON THE FIELD. All i have to say is that they CAN beat all these next teams, but after seeing what has happened so far, i think they drop 1 or 2. At the end i think they'll end up 10-6. Hopefully a Wild Card Spot, but there is no reason we cant still win the division. The Jets just have to put there mind to it and and try to win every next game. Take it one game at a time.

This was my post in a south florida sports thread. It is what I believe.

I am still calming down at this point. Let me start with the Dolphans at Packys this Sunday. Those of you that have been there know that the same Jets fans come every week to watch the game. During the Dolphins game the Dolphans have thier own side (twice the size of our side) and a large wall between us. Well here come the homers with orange t-shirts painted with "jets suck suck suck" written on them and they sit on our side. Know nothing about football and just trying to iritate us. I'm telling you If I wasn't a police officer...well. The game...I'm not as unhappy and sick as most of our Jet fans. This is why. If the Dolphins are supposed to be a pretty good team we, obviously have arguably the best defense in the league. We stopped the wildcat better than ANY team you played. This was all without Kris Jenkins showing we can adapt also. Every commentator said that would hurt us and it didn,t we actually did better with Simone Pouha (who?) We held the New Orleans Saints to 13 points which is WAY better than any team they have played. Sanchez looked good and made no mistakes. Our recievers played great even though your coverage was tight. I unlike alot of Jet fans understand we have a Rookie Quarterback who has a total of 8 NFL games under his belt. He is playing with his number 1 wide reciever a total of three games and thy both look pretty good.We have a top 5 running game and Thomas Jones had a hundred yard game without Leon Washington, against a very good Dolphins run defense. Rex Ryan did exactly what I said in my previous posts he developed a way to stop your running game and the wildcat. I understood that with a new coach, new quarterback, new wide outs, we aren't going to the superbowl. But once this team gels, watch out. The Dolphins won though is what you are gonna say, well any given day in the NFL the better team can loose. Anyone think Oakland is better than Philly? I know the better team lost Sunday but thats the NFL. I would rather be 4-4 with our Jets team looking up, than 3-4 with that Dolphins team. That is all...rant over.

Uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm gone for a few days only to return to the same old discussions. Man, I've got to tell you, it never gets old. Every week I'm excited, hopeful, optimistic yada yada yada. I think I'm drained. Not sure if I care any more. I'll always be a fan but I get tired of the comments from my friends who aren't Jets fans. It's like when you let your parents down, all you can do is look at them and then hang your head. EVERY week someone lets us down. One week it's the defense, another it's the offense, and now it's specuial teams. 1/3rd of the team performs like crap while the other 2/3rds struggle to keep the score close enough to give me a 60- minute heart attack, only to have my teeth kicked in, in the last minutes of every game. If you're angry, you have a right to be. If you're thinking we're going to win the next 8 games, you're a special person, that's for sure. But there's no reason to insult each other regardless. Just think about what you're saying when you say it. I remember when a LOT of people were whaling on Thomas Jones and now he's the team work horse. He was done and now he's the guy keeping us in it every game. I guess you never know how things are going to turn out, it's just nice when you get to be the one who says I told you so. For the record Clown, I hope you're the one who gets to tell them I told you so, but they're not wrong for not believing in you or the team after they way that they have performed.

^^Thats well said^^ and I am sure alot of Jet fans feel that way but we have to give Ryan and the boys a chance. Maybe it was the worst thing that could happen that we won three coming out of the shoot. Give Sanchez a break think of the pressure he is under we will get better I have faith. And yes I have been a Jets fan with the same dissappointments as you guys. I still have my real Gastineau (Not a throwback) jersey and I was in Rich stadium wearing my McNeil jersey escaping with my life, but I still bleed Jet green and I want to give this team a chance. Love Bart Scott and Rex Ryans comments finally we are sore losers and not excepting it like Mangini,Kotite, Groh and so on. He ll we never gave Pete Caroll a chance and he might have been a great coach in the NFL but we will never know. Do I think we will win the rest...no freakin way. Will the kid get better and us make the playoffs next year I would bet on it. We have been waiting along time so we want instant results. Just give it a chance I feel differently about this team then the past. I think we can be great!

Well said Titan. I am close to a special person because I know we have the team to win most of the next 8 games, but would I bet my house on it? no Just hope I am close to right.
