Default 2017 schedule

So here is the reported schedule
1) at buffalo
2) at Oakland
3 vs miami
4) vs jacksonsville
5) at Cleveland
6) vs pats
7) at Miami
8) vs Atlanta
9) vs buffalo
10) at Tampa
11) bye
12) vs Carolina
13) vs KC
14) at Denver
15) at NO
16) vs chargers
17) at NE
Is it too early for wins - loss predictions ?
I was hoping to see the last 5 non conference opponents early in the year but it looks like Hack or Petty will be facing a tough stretch to end the year
With out many easy stretches in the mix.
Could be McCown for weeks 1,2 and 3 and Hack going forward.Would hate to see him against the Raiders or Dolphins D lines too soon.

Not the worst schedule we've had but still not an easy schedule especially with our QB situation.

I know it's early but I can see us losing the last 6 in a row, unless the Patriots have wrapped up home field and rest everyone week 17.
Realistically, I think it will look something like this:
1) at buffalo. Loss
2) at Oakland. Loss
3 vs miami. Loss
4) vs jacksonsville toss up
5) at Cleveland toss up
6) vs pats. Loss
7) at Miami. Loss
8) vs Atlanta. Loss
9) vs buffalo. Winn
10) at Tampa. Loss
11) bye
12) vs Carolina Loss
13) vs KC. Loss
14) at Denver. Loss
15) at NO. Loss
16) vs chargers Loss
17) at NE. Win
I can see 3- maybe 5 wins, but if we show up to play, show improvement, the win - loss record doesn't matter to me.
On a side note.... Where the heck is everyone? One week from the draft and crickets...
No mocks, prospect profiles, shocked by how quiet it has become here.

Could be a 3 win season...they are saying now strength of schedule this is the toughest Jets schedule since 2009. Difference is 2009 we had top oline, top run game, top dline, top secondary, solid safety, awesome special teams, decent wr, solid TE, and the only hiccup was sanchez.

We are depleted now and our QB whoever it is will surely be no better than Sanchez.

Honestly, the schedule is tough due to our roster. The first 5 games would normally be considered easy, aside from the Raiders in Oakland, we are all ready short 3 player due to suspension and Decker will need time to get in shape so we could loose all 5. Weks 6-10 should normally be good for 2-3 wins, the last 6 should produce 2 wins. 8-8 to 9-7 but this roster is just so void of talent and depth that 2 wins is possible,4 would be good. We need everything to break right to get to 5 wins. Mo has to bounce back,Forte has to hold off father time, Powell has to stay healthy and prove he can carry the load.Enunwa has to keep out of trouble and go from a 3 Rd option - h back taking advantage of mismatches to a #1 receiver facing the top CB and or double teams.Clairborne and Beachum have to stay healthy and return to form. The young guys have to step up . And we have to avoid injuries. Alot of big ifs... The biggest need of all IMO ? Bowles needs to hear a loud pop before the season. That would be the sound of him pulling his head out .....
Hoping for some close games and the team continuing to grow in spite of the mounting losses.
Bowles has to find a way to fix the locker room and then manage to keep it together in the face of mounting losses.

There's not that much to talk about, most of us have written off next season AND the Patriots are a lock for the AFC East and probable home advantage. There is nothing that can happen in the draft to change any of this, we need a QB, and we can't develop one of those until we fix the O-line so he can stand up without getting a punctured lung. People are taking about getting a high draft pick next year to take a QB, but we will probably need a left tackle instead. Our past first rounders Wilkerson and Richardson have character issues and our cup of joy will be complete if this rubs off onto Williams. A strong schedule will be a negative tie-breaker with the other no-hope franchises.
