Default Robby Anderson Arrested

Anderson has been charged with a felony count of resisting arrest with violence as well as obstruction of justice Sunday, police say he fought with security officials after being asked to leave a Miami music festival.

A Miami Police Department arrest report says 23-year-old Robby Anderson refused an order by a police lieutenant to sit on the ground and pushed the officer and other officials at the Rolling Loud festival Sunday evening.

A hearing is scheduled for May 15.

Will Anderson join Marshall and ASJ on the suspension list to start the season?

I get the feeling he might be cut from the team. And won't be missed either. If we can't do better than him were in trouble, or at least our QB will be.

With 2 Recievers drafted and the # of solid young Recievers on the roster, you could be right about him being cut.
He just has so much upside, he has the potential to be a top 10 Reciever in the league. He's fast, fluid and makes it look easy. Hate to see a kid waste that kind of talent.
I think that the reports that have come to light regarding the police offer who made the arrest may change everything. There is now serious doubt to the accuracy of the arrest report and there is a good chance that this all gets dropped like a pass intended for Brandon Marshall...
Here are some excerpts about Miami Lt. Javier Ortiz , Anderson's arresting officer:
he was removed from active duty in March and had his gun taken away after a judge granted a woman a temporary restraining order against him. Ortiz doxxed the woman, who filed the restraining order after Ortiz encouraged his Facebook friends to harass her. A county judge then declined to make Ortiz’s stay-away ruling permanent.
ex-Jets and University of Miami linebacker Jonathan Vilma filed a complaint against Ortiz, claiming the cop went “nuts” at a traffic stop. Vilma added that Ortiz “waved a gun in his face, screamed at him, and arrested him on false charges that were later dropped.”
There was also an incident at another music festival in 2011.

It was then that a group of officers, including Ortiz, threw 27-year-old Jesse Campodonico to the ground and tasered him while at the Ultra Music Festival. Campodonico sued and claimed excessive force, resulting in a settlement from the festival.

The New Times provided more details from the case, in which Ortiz was accused of committing perjury:

The cops on the scene claimed Campodonico was “yelling profanities, and had a strong scent of an alcoholic beverage,” and then “took a fighting stance and stated, ‘I ain’t afraid of you!'” Ortiz wrote the arrest report, as well as a follow-up document called a Response to Resistance Report. He also testified, backing up his claims — but his fellow cops later provided testimony that conflicted with his own.

Then video emerged that someone had shot of the arrest, and the footage proved the events Ortiz depicted in his report could not have happened.

A local lawyer later filed a complaint about the alleged act of perjury with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. The state attorney admitted in writing that Ortiz’s documents were full of “inconsistencies,” but never prosecuted the union president for wrongdoing. Ortiz was banned from Ultra but later mounted a legal fight for the right to work security at Ultra again. And for back pay for the festivals he’d missed.

Interesting. Just goes to show that we shouldn't rush to judgement until all the facts are presented. There's at least 2 sides to every story.

I think his hearing is early next week on Monday or Tuesday.
We should have a better idea what is going on with the whole story.

What convict are you referring to? Anderson has not been convicted of anything but the arresting officer has on multiple occasions.
You should stick to playing with your Tom Brady action figures, you troll.
