Default Why Not Keller?

I can't believe that Dustin Keller, in his last year of his contract, hasn't been extended.I guess it's just Tannenbaum's continuing downward spiral. The man can't be trusted. Period. Without Keller, the was NO offense last year.Maybe he thinks the kid from Down Under will be an instant superstar.HAHAHA

DK contract talks
Dustin Keller will get his extension but why would he re-work his current pay this year which is $3 Million. Would be stupid to negotiate now, wait until season start so team has no leverage...

I'm glad to hear he will get his extension. Keller one of my favorite players.

Funny. Last year I heard a lot of "Stone Hands" Keller comments.

Glad he's going to be part of the team still, he's no Chrebet but can get the job done especially in a clutch situation.

I think I was the only one saying it. And no, he doesn't have great hands.

Here's a chart from 2010 showing that he was tied for the lead in drops among TEs.
http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...t-fewest-drops

Sanchez sometimes takes a little off of his throws so that Keller can make the catch. Look at how many TEs are better than him and weren't drafted in the first round.

I'd still resign him though.

He seems to start out strong each season and regress as the season goes on.

he also seems to be a part of the game plan beginning of each season and either play call or QB decision he becomes irrelevant.
