Hello Again Jets Fan -

It’s being held at Sports Zone 84 (Address and directions - http://binged.it/HrdkAg) on April 26, 2012 (one night only) at 7PM. It's inside the Rodeway Inn and Suites banquet room that's connected to the bar. As of today, the Jets have a total of 10 draft picks (http://bit.ly/HjF6Uv). Here's what will be happening that night:

The FIRST 15 fans attending will receive a JETS 2012 Draft Day Tee and a drink card where you will receive a FREE soda or 16 oz. beer.

- Giveaways for all (while supplies last)
- Official NFL forms to track the Draft
- Take 10% off your entire food/drink bill at the end of the night
- Jets Fan Club of Fort Lauderdale Tees will be available for purchase
AND MORE…

There will be a guess what player the Jets will draft with their first pick where you can win an autographed item. If no one guesses it correctly, it will go into the special raffle drawing explained below.

There will be a raffle drawing where all the proceeds will go to Lupus Research. It's a 2010 Pro Bowl cap that's autographed by all the Jets players who participated (Mangold, Revis, Ferguson and Ellis) in the game. A real nice piece and the raffle tickets are ONLY $1 a piece.

I'm still waiting to hear back if former Jet Wesley Walker will be joining us. So there's still a chance. The same goes for Marvin Jones.

It's also a night of hanging with your fellow Jets fans, something we haven't done since December!!

I set up an inexpensive package that ensures you a game ticket where you can see the whole field really well and delicious food catered for the tailgate party. The seats for the game and the tailgate will be with our own group. Hey I lived in Fort Lauderdale back in 72/73 when I was going to the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderday which had classes in the basement of the Holiday Inn Oceanside. If you don't live in Ft. Lauderdale and do visit, they have beautiful beaches.

... join the Jets Fan Club of Fort Lauderdale for its annual 'Rally' Night when the Jets play the Carolina Panthers on August 26, 2012 at 8PM in a preseason game tilt. The starters will play more than a half in this game and it'll be important to some of the players because there will be a few spots up for grabs! With all the hype surrounding the Jets upcoming 2012 season, I know you're ready to get an early start and to cheer on our J - E - T - S!!

You can enter through The Reef but the Fan Club meets inside a private banquet room (back, in the right corner) solely for the J-E-T-S fans inside the Rodeway Inn and Suites that's attached to the Bar.

On this night you will receive:

- a J-E-T-S giveaway (an item I've never gave away before)
- first 25 fans will receive a token for a FREE 16 oz. beer, glass of wine or soda
- Choose from a variety of food dishes for this event and during the Jets season
-10% off your entire food/drink bill
- bring in your business card to post on the Club's Media Board (help out other fellow Jets fan)
- Jets Fan Club of Fort Lauderdale T-shirts will be available for purchase

I'll have a Jets jersey that's autographed by Chad Pennington that I'll be raffling off throughout the whole JETS season and all the proceeds will be going to the Chad Pennington First and Ten Foundation. Raffle tickets are $2 a piece, 3 for $5 or 6 for $10. We can get an early start on it on this night! The drawing will be done after the last J-E-T-S game (including playoff games)!

Hey there Gang Green Fanatic,

I was notified that ex-Jets LB Marvin Jones will be doing his Radio Show where the Fan Club meets at THE REEF!!! (DIRECTIONS: http://binged.it/zEF9bQ)

He will be conducting his first show there LIVE on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 7pm until 9pm. Then every other Thursday in the same time slot. It's a very informative Show on the NFL and College Football from the Professor who is on 940-WINZ. You can listen to all of his Shows here: http://deforadio.com.

I'll have the autographed Chad Pennington authentic jersey (attached) there to raffle off. Raffle tickets are $2 a piece, 3 for $5 or 6 for $10. All proceeds go to his First and Ten Foundation.
Marvin Jones will also sign autographs and take pictures after the Show. There's always a chance for a Sports figure to be there too! I've already met former coach Howard Schnellenberger during his Show.

Due to the tropical storms all over the area, that are supposed to worsen on the day of Jets Fan Club of Fort Lauderdale's 'Rally' Night (August 26, 2012) and it's a Sunday evening, I'm unfortunately going to have to cancel it. I will see you on September 9, 2012, for the J-E-T-S first game against the Bills at 1pm!! You can come in as early as 11am.
