Denvers Tight ends have record day agaist jets. Our Line backers have been terrible all year on their coverage. We have been beat all year long on the little underneath pass. This is how you beat us. No ajustments to stop the bleeding by Mangini. And for the first time this year our linebackers were a no show in the running game. On key plays Shanahan had 3 defenders on Keller. Too much pressure on our DB's to cover there guy and keep a eye on the backers guy. Mangini do something other than watch and hope they are stopped in the redzone. Hey the one blitz at the end of the game worked Cutler was rushed incomplete. Where was that all game? If you know there going to just pass and have mis-matches all day long on our backers. Put three corners in, put 7 backers in, do something Mangini. Its on you watching Cutler sit back in the pocket with no pressure what so ever. You made no ajustments. Its going to be a interesting last four games. If we miss the playoffs your fired.

Well, we have big LBs, meant for the 3-4, which is why instead of covering, a safety should have been up on the TEs and let Pace and Thomas rush! When we get pressure the QB can't sit back. The Safetys were 15 yards back yesterday!

Yes, even the best coverage guys have a tough time when the quarterback has all day to let his guys get open.

yeah, our pass rush has been non existent the last couple of games. Cutler was playing pitch and catch all day.

I was disappointed in the D, they let Peyton Hillis look like Walter Payton, can't play D like this and expect to get far in the playoffs.

yes, Jenkins got pushed around yesterday. Demoralizing in all 3 phases.

, I didn't even notice that Jenkins was in the game, I usually watch him throw guys around and sack quarterbacks, but it seemed like he was flat as well.

Yeah, he was being handled by one guy. Wasn't even getting double teamed.

Any reason why? The weather?

I think their quick zone blocking moved him off the play too quick and opened holes too fast, the rain slowed him down, it always favors the offense in the rain.

With the recievers that Denver has we couldn't leave the CBs in single coverage, especially with the slippery conditions. The coverage and pressure problems both compliment each other. It is because of our big, slow, linebackers, but it goes further. If we leave everyone in coverage they get beat and the opposing QB completes those short passes on our backers. If we blitz, the coverage can't hold up and if we don't get someone right to the QB he will find an open guy. Personally I don't think we disguise our defense good enough. It seems the other team always picks it up and finds the open guy.
