1000 Posts Club

Well this is it. My 1000th post!

You know "back in the day" getting to 1000 posts in a season was a tough task!
I remember the days before you had a mouse...but I digress.



I'd like to thank Al Gore for inventing the internet.
I'd like to thank Woody Johnson for giving me the venom to go after him on his PSL greed.
I'd like to thank Eric Mangina for all his mistakes that fueled me in the early days.
I'd like to thank everyone that participated in the Christmas sing along...go search for it, there was some good stuff there.
I'd like to thank my Dad for taking me to my first football game and getting me season tickets.
I'd like to thank God for inventing football!

As for you rookies and veterans that haven't reached this lofty goal yet.
Keep those posts coming and you too can drive the moderators n*ts! (it's an inside joke!) :D

Lets hope I can survive and get to my next goal of 10,000 posts.

A 1,000 Posts is such an over rated stat. A lot of guys make low quality posts, and yet these get counted as an official number. I look to things as Posts to Thread, Repeat Posts, Posts in third down sits, etc.

I always factor in the number of hot/cute chick posts when evaluating a poster and his/her post count. They always lend an air of quality, and forethought, to any post.
