11 NFL teams have new head coaches for next season. That's over 1/3 of the league.

Cleveland Browns - Romeo Crennel, fired (Dec. 29); Eric Mangini (Jan. 8).
Denver Broncos - Mike Shanahan, fired (Dec. 30); Josh McDaniels (Jan. 12).

Detroit Lions - Rod Marinelli, fired (Dec. 29); Jim Schwartz (Jan. 15).

Indianapolis Colts - Tony Dungy, retired (Jan. 12); Jim Caldwell (Jan. 12).

Kansas City Chiefs - Herm Edwards, fired (Jan. 23); Todd Haley (Feb. 6).

New York Jets - Eric Mangini, fired (Dec. 29); Rex Ryan (Jan. 19).

Oakland Raiders - Lane Kiffin, fired (Sept. 30); Tom Cable (interim, Sept. 30).

St. Louis Rams - Scott Linehan, fired (Sept. 29); Jim Haslett (interim, Sept. 29); Steve Spagnuolo (Jan. 17).

San Francisco 49ers - Mike Nolan, fired (Oct. 20); Mike Singletary (Oct. 20).

Seattle Seahawks - Mike Holmgren, retired (Dec. 28); Jim Mora Jr. (Dec. 30).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Jon Gruden, fired (Jan. 16); Raheem Morris (Jan. 17)

There's no job security in this position. Why do you think so many changes were made?

I feel Jim Caldwell in Indianapolis will have the best season of all the new head coaches due to the inheritance. I am not putting him in the poll.

Must be nice to take over a team with Manning, Wayne, Harrison, Adai...etc

League is making a move to younger/cheaper coaches.

Three people voted and one was for Mangini and the Browns? There are football fans on this site, isn't there?

I almost said Rex Ryan, but then I remembered: The Lions were 0-16 they literally can't get any worse than they already are. So they're gonna have the biggest turn-around. The Dolphins sure showed what a new Head Coach could do this season, I expect the same thing here.

Actually, Bill Parcells turned that team around, not the coach. The Lions promoted some GM that worked under Millen, so...I don't see much improvement. Besides, it's not like the Dolphins' turnaround is common. Lions will win 2 games at best.
